Esa expresión me da mucha risa.
!Adiosito¡
!Abur¡
I tried the Google translate in this entry, and it is terrible.
Rabón - Corto- Short
I haven't knitted much lately, with the exception of this scarf. But.. once it is finished, will I wear it? I like the colours, but I don't know if I will dare to wear it, since my dress style is in the boring side. There are outfits, that I like, although, I never wear them, it seems as if they are not for me. Well, we will see once I finish knitting the aforementioned scarf.
Generally speaking, I never wear or have worn sleeveless dresses, or with plunging necklines, or very short ones. Well, the later I used to wear back in my day, which provoked big tantrums from the nuns, my mom and my aunt. Are you going out like that? My Good Lord in Heaven, what will the people say? That we are just like a painting on the wall for you? This last saying made me laugh a lot... painted on the wall? I had visions , of me painting some figures on the living room wall.
I
When I was in Junior High, Mother Superior summoned by the PA system, twelve of my classmates, I was among those . When we arrived the nun's Sanctum Sanctorum, we were called one by one. As soon as I entered, Sister Carolina, asked me. " Jane Doe" would you like a newspaper?" "OH yes, please! I answered eagerly. " The nerve!" mumbled the nun, as she proceeded to pin a newspaper strip to the edge of my uniform. Our crime, was, that we had raised our uniform over our knees, and so we were sining against the sixth commandment. I had failed to see the relationship between the two...
Here I dress as I like, but I do not feel comfortable with "immodest outfits" or with bright colours. Ha hahaha, That will change! From now on, a tad late though, I am going to wear the colours and styles, that, I want, I don't care who likes them or who doesn't...
Through the blogs, I have learnt, that, the Spanish language, has changed a lot in the last few years. The colour, the before was known as bright pink, .shocking pink, or Mexican pink, is known now as Fuchsia, That, the colour formerly known as (coffee) brown, or chestnut, is now known as "marron". ( a copy from the French). And... that now, many people speak with diminutives, and there is and exaggeration of flattery, and showing of affection toward strangers. Back in my times we were more reserved..hahahaha... back in my times!
I have also noticed , with disgust, that ,the very Mexican Birthday song,"Las Mañanitas" has been replaced by a translation of the USA's "Happy Birthday to you". song. How tacky can it be?
Well, this post took a different direction, that I wanted to give it, but I will not delete it. I wanted the tone to be light and funny, but it turned into whinny. I will have to adjust to the changes, but I don't believe, that I will start talking with diminutives, any time soon. Well, who knows.. we shouldn't say, " from this water, I shall not drink"...
bbbye
I forgot to translate a paragraph, but it is getting too long winded.
