Hoy el día está gris y muy tristón pero hay muchos pájaros en el jardín de atrás, y se oyen muy contentos.
Ayer fui a caminar y de paso entré a la tienda "Dollarama" y noté, que no sólo tienen todo lo de San Valentín, pero ahora ya pusieron lo de pascua también. Un montón de conejos y borregos de peluche, huevos, dulces, trabajos manuales, etc. La empleada que los estaba poniendo dijo que estaba muy cansada, y que tenían todavía muchas cosas más que poner.
Fui al atardecer, no hacía frío y el cielo estaba muy bonito. En el oeste estaba rojo como en llamas en unos lugares y en otros amarillo, lila, azul.. y el resto del cielo rosa alrededor y azúl brillante en lo más alto. A esas horas es cuando los gansos canadienses van rumbo al oeste, (los gansos viven aquí, ya no emigran hacia el sur en invierno, porque su entorno ha desaparecido). No dejan de asombrarme como van en formación. Pasaron cientos de ellos, unos en línea recta, y todos manteniendo la misma distancia unos de otros, y batiendo las alas al unísono. A veces nada mas flotaban, y de pronto empezaban a mover las alas al mismo tiempo. Luego todos formaban un frente como de 60 gansos, y como por reloj formaban las filas rectas o la formación en V. Todos muy ordenados, nada de aventones y no dejar meterse en la fila a los demás para ser los primeros. como lo hace alguna gente.
Dije que me iba a bañar en cuanto me levantara, pero aquí estoy en la computadora. Ahora sí ya me voy a bañar.

Today is a grey and gloomy day, ( hehehehe...It sounds like " It was a dark and stormy night) . but there are many
birds in the backyard, and they sound happy.
Yesterday I went for a walk and when I passed Dollarama I dropped in. I noticed, that not only do they have St Valentine's Day stuff, but on top of that, they have out the Easter merchandise too, stuffed animals, rabbits, lambs,
eggs, candies, crafts, etc. The lady who was filling the shelves said, that she was very
tired, and she still had a lot more to do.
I went around sunset, it wasn't cold, and everything
was so nice. In the West the sky was red like fire, but also yellow, lila,and
blue. The rest of the sky was pink all around, bright blue on top, and the moon coming in the East. That is the time of day when Canada Geese are westbound.
( they live here, they no longer fly south, as their habitat has been destroyed) They never fail to amaze me.
. They were hundreds of
them, some flying on straight line, all keeping the same distance one from the
other, and flapping their wings in unison. Sometimes they just
glided, and suddenly they all began to move the wings simultaneously. They kept moving according with the wind direction
sometimes they formed a front of about 60 geese
abreast, and then as if they had a clock, every goose took its place in the
line, some were straight rows, which slowly turned into a V formation, They
do it very orderly, no pushing or and the others allowed them to get in the
line. Not like some people who push or butt in to be first.
I had said I was going to shower as soon as I woke up, but I'm still here at the computer. I'm really going to shower now.
